EMD‑certified telecommunicators provide protocol‑driven care from the first ring through responder arrival.

01 / POLICE DISPATCHLAW ENFORCEMENT

Police Dispatch

Direct communication and coordination with the Coosada Police Department for all law‑enforcement emergencies and service calls.

02 / FIRE & RESCUEFIRE/EMS

Fire & Rescue

Immediate dispatch for Coosada Fire/Rescue to handle fires, accidents, rescues, and medical transport with the district's licensed ambulance.

03 / EMD + T‑CPRMEDICAL

Emergency Medical Dispatch

EMD‑certified dispatchers deliver protocol‑driven pre‑arrival medical instructions, including Telecommunicator CPR, while the ambulance is en route.

Non‑Emergency: reports, questions, follow‑up

  • Requesting an officer for a civil matter

§ 03 · About the District

A modern civic utility, quietly doing the essential work.

The Coosada 911 Communications District was established under the Code of Alabama to ensure reliable, efficient emergency communication services for the Town of Coosada and its visitors.

The FCC awarded PSAP #8914 to the district on December 31, 2025. The district works in close partnership with Elmore County 911, local law enforcement, and regional mutual‑aid agencies to ensure Coosada residents are served without interruption.
